Each dot is a blog post from EconForEverybody, a blog by Ashish Kulkarni spanning economics, education, philosophy, AI, and alignment from 2016 to 2026.
Posts that are about similar topics are placed closer together. An AI model read every post and converted it into a numerical "fingerprint" of its meaning. A technique called UMAP arranged these fingerprints on a 2D plane so that similar posts land near each other.
The colors represent thematic clusters discovered automatically by another algorithm (HDBSCAN). They weren't chosen by hand — the algorithm found natural groupings in the content.
The most interesting features of this map aren't the clusters themselves, but the bridges between clusters — the posts that connect economics to AI alignment, Pirsig to Coase, pedagogy to technology.
Built with ♦ inspired by S Anand's blog embedding map. Embeddings by Gemini, layout by UMAP, clustering by HDBSCAN, visualization with D3.js.
